achieving good levels using the internal CD Reader

Made a recent thread but didnt get any response. Surely there is a way to achieve good levels sampling via a CD because when I try its quiet as hell.

Have you tried turning the AUTO NORMALIZE to ON?
It always boosts the level for me.

Yup. Did that, but nothing.

Go to global & see where the master level is set at. "0"db is usually what's used but you can set it to whatever you like.

Plus I'd ask somebody to download & print the reference manual for you if you can't do it so you can have it for......a reference of course.

I doubt if katz will continue to spoon feed you the same answers that can just as well be found in the manual.

Just trying to help you prevent the same kind of pattern you set when you posted stuff about your asr10.

Also, are you using the main outs or the headphone outs?

just might b the machine(broke)? cause its not hard to get a loud rec level.

+1 Yeah, it shouldn't be that difficult to get a good mirrored recording off of that beast.

If MG doesn't mind explaining, where did you or who did you purchase this from?

what I did was I used the EQ for the sample coming in and I boosted the levels that way. sounds a lot better but still some audible white noise in the background.

i rip from cds all the time, no level problems

bump. damn guys, this problem isnt going away. ive tried everything...and the eqs only sound good on certain samples. does anybody have an any clue?
