i personally think its a fail.

This is not a fail. Roger Linn and DSI? You can't go wrong there. It doesn't add anything new to the current drummachines, so I'm curious what it wil bring sonicly(MPC60,3000).

I will def. cop one once it's reach the +1000$ range. And it will.

okay, so maybe fail was wrong choice of words. but still not sure about it. doesnt seem like anything spectacular.

I'm kinda missing the Inputs.. Since it comes loaded with samples, I would like to load my own.. is this only possible through the USB port??
The synth part sounds pretty darn cool though.. with all the OSCs an the LFOs

I'd like to know about the sampling capabilities too, if it actually has any. If it can layer up my samples with it's own analogue voices, I best get saving hard. £££££££

I think I'll save up for the LinnDrum II thats coming this Fall.

cyrus always posting this high dollar gear,that none can afford to get. taking us to the mall and saying look but don't touch. then he never explains if it can sample or what,somebody needs to put a stop to this madness!!!

Tempest is just an analog drum machine, it doesn't sample at all. Roger is just letting Dave have his shine with his product, in fact the LinnDrum II would look something like the Tempest and that will sample.
