It's all coming together now mate. 8)

So what have you done to treat the rest of your room prior to this build? I assume you've got it sounding nice in there anyway as your mixes sound pro.

It's an area I've always neglected, but I want to sort it out when I get some new monitors.

I haven't done much to properly treat it. I mounted a couple of sound blankets on the walls and some cheap ebay foam in the corners. I basically only deadened the room as far as echoing goes, but never really had a bass solution. But I currently have all of the material to fully treat the control room with acoustic panels.

As far as how my mixes sound, I basically got it to where my sweet spot/mixing position is fairly accurate and just trained my ears to the tune of the room and speakers. For the vocals, I just had a ghetto booth setup that pretty much got my vocals nice and dry. Here's some before pics:

LMAO...And the funny thing about this is, most won't never come out of the ghetto mindset they're in to even think about taking it to the next level like you're doing it.

Don't know, maybe he took it personal and didn't want to respond (which I can't see that coming from him). But he's showing he's got the will and desire to move forward with his dreams.

So I guess when you have that kind of ambition, you can tell all the haters & naysayers to kiss your @ss.

Entrepreneurs don't get stuck in one place with their ideas, they let that sh!t thrive into bigger & better things. 8)
