i heard that if you add a harddrive to your 1k or your 2500 then it makes it so you cant access the cf card via usb anymore. is this true?

would that mean that you would have to get at cf card reader and plug it into your comuter, load it up with sounds then put it in your mpc load the sounds from the cf card to the mpc. and repeat process until you have your harddrive full of the drums ect you want to use as your "go to" drums for your beats?

that would kinda suck that the usb would be rendered useless. if in fact this is true.

i was hoping that if you added a harddrive to your 1k or 25k that when you plugged in the harddrive yo could just drag or drop files onto it via computer just like you do with the cf card.

could anyone verify this for me please?

Not true.

You can access both thru USB, one at a time. But there is no quick way to copy or move files from HD to card (or vice versa).

this is awesome!

If you access the MPC card from your pc, you'll have to "Safely Remove Hardware" on your pc before you can access the MPC hard drive. And vice versa. So you cannot access both at the same time

Or did I read you correctly?
