MPC

I recently bought the Akai professional MPC2500. It came with a USB cord. When I use the USB FL Studio receives no signal. My question therefore is: how do I get a signal to use my MPC in conjunction with FL Studio of course. Of course there's no signal.

you cant. the usb is only for loading and saving.

How does the midi interface work? I've had a lot of problems before using midis.

Seriously. I don't understand. Do I need to hook two midi cords from each of the midi in and then attach it to a hub to a usb cord? It's pretty confusing and shouldn't my USB receive any signal from FL Studio if that's how I load it with data?

Me too... But I'm under the impression that he doesn't know that he want to archive, music wise.
For music gear, I download and read manuals, before I decides to buy.

Look I know what a midi is I'm not stupid enough to ignore that. Honestly to know the word MIDI is pretty much all you need to know. It trransfers data to your computer audio interface. Look my MPC2500 doesn't even get recognized when I connect the USB in. My M-Audio keyboard has a USB to connect in and once it's in my audio interface (FL Studio Pro) recognizes it and I can play via keyboard what notes I want to play. Why am I not getting any signal from my MPC2500? And what difference will it make if I get midi cords and connect it to a hub USB cord to plug it into the comp? I've read the manual... It has no advice.

If you've read the manual you would know the MPC doesn't work the same as your controller. Your controller has software to communicate via USB with your DAW. The MPC usb functions only nas data transfer. To use it as a controller you need MIDI cables
