MPC1000 digital IN not working (tried free JJOS and OS2XL)

....so that's the story. Tried to record through the digital IN, the MPC doesn't show anything coming from the mixer. The digital OUT works fine tho. I tried both the free JJOS and JJOS2XL. Can this mean a faulty digital converter?

can some1 here running free JJOS or OS2XL 2.18 test their digital IN?

Mine works fine with older versions, but I've skipped the last few updates to give JJ a chance to iron out bugs.

I've tried the MPC with an EZBUS mixer and with a TC Electronic Fireworx effects processor, output to these devices was fine, but no input signal detected. I tested the EZBUS with the Fireworx, both work fine together, in and out signal.

So the free JJOS 3.12 would not be considered as an older version?

I don't follow the update history of the free version so I wouldn't know, but OSXL 2.11 works as it should.
