Ya. I know. You get on down to Sainsbury's to buy some nice food, then ya set about sampling your vinoleum collection. Boom! Then you have some dope samples.

That timeline states the MPC60 was released in 1986.
Everywhere else says 1988,

The timeline also states the s950 came out around 1990.
Everywhere else states 1988.

Hi folks,
Just got an internal jaz 1gb scsi drive for floppy replacement,
I set different scsi IDs and the sampler recognize my scsi drive but when i try to format the jaz cartridge, the screen show me those words:
SCSI ERROR
What's wrong?any suggestions.

There's a sort of padlock icon under the drive icon, but when i try to format the jaz,it's appear "SCSI ERROR" not "WRITE PROTECTED" so i don't know!i cannot try to format through Iomega tools cause my pc doesn't have scsi.
I'll try with other cartridges and let you know.
Thanks for the answer.

You can do the same with HD floppy, Zip Drive, or if your willing to go the EXTRA mile, Syquest EZ 135. The internal scsi is a bridge, and Jaz will just give you issues. I took out the Jaz from two other Akai machines. They dont play nicely.
