Co-sign. Def less high freq. fatigue than the hd280's and WAY more comfortable than the 7506's (plus the black rubber shit doesnt flake off onto your head/ears after 6 months.) I copped 2 pairs!


Plus the ATH-M50S has a straight cable (10') instead of the stupid coily bullshit that gets all tangled and **** up.

the only headphones i will ever buy again are the audio technica ath-m40fs.
never heard better, more accurate sound on any headphone...plus they are rugged as f@#k!

The Sennheiser HD-600 and AKG-701 are two sets I have used that I like and seem to be popular with some studio people.

I've had a pair of Sennheiser HD590s for years and based on them I highly recommend the 600's. Deepest bass of any headphone I've owned, and so comfortable I've worn them for as long as 8 or 9 hours without feeling uncomfortable at all.

Hi everyone. i'm new on this forum. I know it's been a year, but since it's an MPC forum i wanted to ask a headphone related question. I'm about to buy an mpc 1000 and i own a AKG k701 and I wanted to know if anyone else uses this combination. Or any inputs on the mpc's headphone amps? or if they even have one, or just using the monitor outs in parallel?
