MPC 60 II 3.10os 1,44mb floppydrive?

Hello, I have a simple question. Can I replace the originally floppy drive of MPC 60 by 1,44mb floppydrive which is running newest os? And what kind of floppydrive it should be? I got MPC 2000xl old floppydrive can that make the trick? Thanks bros.
