Setups of the present system is saved by the file name of "MPC1 K_SETUPS.SYS."
If OS is changed, setups of a system will return to a default value.
It will return to former setups by loading this file.

It will not be able to read, if changed.

Excellent. Useful addition that many have wanted for a while.

There should be an updates league table . I think distorted and le rat are up there for posting the most. Ive only done 1 I think since 2007 ... i might get relegated at the end of this season.

good addition

Hmm... I think I get the basic idea - that settings are stored and when you change OS versions, they are kept. But which settings exactly?

@ license - i'm not sure yet. i tried it briefly last night and haven't explored further. le rat may have found the answer above.

@ le rat - i've been having problems with memorized setup for a long time. before i power down the mpc, i've held the main button. but when i reboot, the sequence tempo doesn't memorize. i'm not sure what i missed. but i've had this problem for a long time on different versions. i know i'm doing something wrong, but i couldn't find anything else on jj's site at all. :?

man...what's next for these two MPCs????
i'd like to see a "button lock" feature
where the all MPC buttons except for the pads are disabled until you hit 2 at the same time, kind of like cell phones...
this way i won't accidentally switch pgms when i'm going nuts on live pad performances and my fangers stray.
