Really glad to be apart of these boards. Been reading around for awhile. Im not new to beatmaking, but I am new to certain things...such as the following problem I have.
Ok, say I want to run my MPC through a compressor and an effects box. My problem is if I have my MPC going into the compressor and Im compressing my drums, the it will also effect everything else in my MPC (samples, hats, bass).
My question is, using hardware, how do I individually run all my sounds through reverb/effect boxes/compressor WITHOUT affecting everything at once.
EXAMPLE:(My MPC is running through my reverb processor, which is affecting all the sounds in my mpc, which i DONT want. I only want that particular reverb being applied to my hats.)
What I have:
MPC 500...possibly an MPC1000 this summer
Nady SDP-20 EFFECTS
ALESIS 3630 COMPRESSOR
