2500, M-Audio Fast Track Ultra & Pro Tools MP8 question.

been having issues since ive been trying to learn my new equipment. (FastTrack & PTMP)

i have my jjos mpc 2500's assignable outs into my fast tracks inputs which is
usb connected to windows 7 64 bit running protools m-powered. no signals in pro tools when i play my mpc, so i went back to the fast track ultra sound countrolpanel to find the problem.

now when i play my tracks on the mpc i open the fasttrack control panel and check the meters to see if i can find a signal but nothing. nothing at all.

Ive searched this forum, googled, the whole 9.
can someone help me with my problem?

do i have to set something in my mpc to enable the outs?
do i need to hookup cables from the outputs of the fast track ultra to elsewhere?
idk please help!

Go to Mixer on your MPC and change the ST (Stereo Out) to desired assignable outs.

But you should still be able to test everything is 'connected' and working properly using the main outs.

are you selecting the appropriate inputs in pro tools?

make sure those white buttons on the fast track ultra aren't pushed in either
