I haven't done much to properly treat it. I mounted a couple of sound blankets on the walls and some cheap ebay foam in the corners. I basically only deadened the room as far as echoing goes, but never really had a bass solution. But I currently have all of the material to fully treat the control room with acoustic panels.

As far as how my mixes sound, I basically got it to where my sweet spot/mixing position is fairly accurate and just trained my ears to the tune of the room and speakers. For the vocals, I just had a ghetto booth setup that pretty much got my vocals nice and dry. Here's some before pics:

Looks nice. 8)

You not got a synth or controller keyboard?

I've been reading up on monitors recently and 'experts' seem to claim that you can blur your frequency image by having your speakers horizontal, but I wouldn't really know.

Yeah, it's to the right out of the pic.

As for the monitors, the tweeters are too high when I stand them up. But 'experts' always have something to say! I say as long as the mix sounds good...
