Looping

hi, i hope this is not considered a stupid question but the manual didn`t really help me...

so here`s what i want to do:

i want to assign a loop on each pad, same bpm n stuff... and then press for example pad 1 and have the same sample looped until i press the 2nd pad... and then it should start with the second loop... and so on...

is this possible? and if yes, what do i have to do? any hint?

Seems like this is you're first sampler. You should really spend a weekend going over each chapter of the manual with the 500 at hand, that'll speed up the learning process.

As for your question, go to program mode and mute group each pad. Make sure your loops are trimmed well in Trim mode. For each pad hold down the Shift key and hold the pad you wanna loop. Viola. If you don't understand what I'm saying then its because you never read the manual.

just because i work in tech support i use to read the manual but this is my first sampler, indeed... the manual solved almost all my issues but i didn`t come clear with that

Ok so here's my 2 cents. Check it. Record each loop onto it's own track mute. Just hit record and then press the pad at the beginning. When you have all track mutes assigned, all you have to do is go into the track mute section and mute out which loops you want to mute out. This should be easiest. All you have to do is get the correct BPM or the loops will not sound right.
