Hi there ! I'm new on this forum and I've got mpc2500 which I think is great tool for producers ! I started making some beat and now I'd to try convert my project to mp3 for add some VST stuff to different tracks. So my question is the same like in subject : How to convert mpc projekt to .mp3 or .wav ?

Thank's for your time and respond !

No no no. That's the wrong way to think about it man! Forget all that. It doesn't matter 'cause you're a producer!!!!

:? You probably want to track your stuff out to a daw program first, then add your vst stuff from there.

Most daws will allow you to mixdown to a .wav file. From there you convert that file to mp3 format.

I've got a finish track so I would like to put that in soundcloud but I don't know how to get that project to my computer ... Is that clear ? :)

Errrr, I don't think you really understand the concept in its entirety. Forget the exception of a basic consumer soundcard and think of a multi input pro audio card with 1/4 inch jack inputs and possibly coax & optical I/O as well as midi I/O.

You'd then would be able to with the assistance of daw s/w, sync the mpc via midi time code or midi clock and record your audio performance from the mpc into the daw program.

Presto, you've got your .wav info secured on the hd (well, ram actually) and saved until you're ready to export it to another medium. Once you've exported it to something like soundforge, wavelab, audacity or whatever, you can do whatever final editing then do a "save as" to mp3. Simple enough.

If by chance you don't have the pro audio card thing going for you, then use a stereo L/R rca to 1/8" balanced male audio cable. You'll have to get some 1/4" jack adapters to work with too.

Question, have you been to tweakheadz.com and checked out all the wonderful info for newbs yet?

OK ! I understand the concept of MPC now ;) That's the answer which i expected ! So now MPC has got a big + from me :D I'm working on EMU1616m so there will not be a problem. I just wondering about the way of "sending" finish track. Thank's also for the link ! That will be plesaure to reading information in this site (i guess :D)

I think the subject can be closed now :)
