Projects aren't loading properly, folder there but no sound

Hi there,
we're brand new to our MPC and we're using MPC Maid to create programs and assign samples to pads. This seems to be fine but when we hit the pads on the program on the computer they don't sound although it says they are there. Then when we drag and drop into MPC and load, the samples aren't sounding and don't appear to be loading - although the folder is there.

We're using WAV files as our samples. What are we doing wrong?

copy and paste manually your drum samples, or w/e, in the proper folder then save your program in it.
when u'll load it with your mpc your wav files will be loaded too.
