Anyone using the Fast Track Ultra...

having problems with recording channels 3-6?
Help, i literally searched all day today for a solution and none served me well,
any help would be appreciated

I have one. But I'm not sure I have enough info to help you. What are you recording into them? Are you getting any signal on those channels? Are your levels set correctly? Are you using the correct cables? Is the front/rear button set correctly on the unit?

im hoping you can help me out with a few things because i just bought this
FTU and it seems to be a decent product and would hate to replace it right now,
but here are my issues...

the lights dont flash as signals

the last input doesnt work (line6)

and when i playback off my mpc it double notes my sounds


my setup is mpc 2500 (synced with protools via midi beatclock)
mpc 2500's 6assignable outs to the inputs of the FTU usb into laptop/pro tools
reason rewired into protools
and axiom 61 slaved from reason.


my cables are new trs 1/4" single lined

btw on the ftu i only have 2 outputs running to my mixer for my monitors...

so can u help?? lol

Did you enable the assignable outs in the MPC? (Assign pads to outs in the mixer)

u have all ur channels selected in pro tools correctly? the sound doubling sounds like you have direct monitoring enabled in m-audio soundcard icon. or just a latency issued but they are pretty good.

thanks d-ill, my only issue now is, there isnt any signal light showing on the led indicators, though signals are running thorugh properly. is there a reason for that?
