What were u thinkin about.Take it from a stranger with nothing to gain by tellin you this. The Mpc is the sh#t,but only when you learn how to use it. YEA! I know you dont want to read the manual. Get over it. Man i wanted to throw both the manual and the mpc out the window. SERIOUSLY. I said wait ill work through the learning curve a little longer. then today BAM! Im bangin out songs left and right. The manual doesnt read well but as u learn the basic it starts to make scence faster and your able to skim over the pages and understand things faster. Dudes and gals. theres no short cuts, but man when the light comes on it blinding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. your not going to learn how to work the machine by asking all the time how. You have have to use reptition, trust.
PEACE :D

I Bought that ---------------> MPC5000 Tutorial to the right there on the right of the page. I'm a seasoned producer and engineer and I still Learned tons from the tut.The 5000 can do things you don't realize until you either read the manual several times , or follow the tut a couple times. Either way , it MUST be done. And the kits included in the lessons walked me through the things i wanted to learn about the Gear. Not just on an MPC but any gear or software you have... read , read , read.. I Recommend it to anyone.

The manual doesn't tell you how to make beats, its a dull and long summary of each button and screen. But of course you have to read it end to end at least once. The tutorials purchased here are closer to teaching you how to make a beat and give you ideas for features you may not have thought useful. The rest is practice...

GET RID OF UR MPC 5000! DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

It's not a good sign when you have to start a thread this with a title like that. Quite sad actually.

If someone chucks their mpc what difference make as long as if you keep yours ?

Let the man be happy. Why hate?
