MV 8000/8800 vs. MPC1000 JJOS

Yeah, you can record 4 outs stock without the MV-OP1.

Even though the MV has everything, I still use my 8track alongside. I don't like how my vocals sound on the MV, but thats preference. I think a DAW and the 1000 is all one can need to produce. The MV is a beast for the fact that you can do alot before tracking out to a DAW, and I mean lots.

The MV doesn't import VST effects or instruments. Instrument patches are equal to Programs for the MPC. Neither equate to a VST/i.

As you can see by my post I was excited, but it seems the posters edited their posts and now deny such a feature.

system file managment is also way better than one on mpc I miss my 8800, but I miss my 4000 and my 2500 as well

I did have a problem with the mv occassionaly freezing up during hot days in the summer tho
