I am the original owner and I had to go thru the stiff pads that went bad. I guess mine lasted me a while because I never really did BANG on them like that. But I had to buy the pad upgrade and put that in then I seen that they had these pads for sell. Had to get them.

cool, I like the look of fat pads, not to mention they supposed to feel better...I got the same mpc 1k as you with silver back panel at this point Im pretty sure I got the old style, faulty pads...thanks for the feedback !

wow and no1 even asks...

so how do they feel? better sensitivity? did it change anything? are they just thicker, or is the rubber softer? I hope not, i like the hard rubber of the regular pads, but thicker ones would be even better. Do the thick pads double trigger/ or trigger each other accidentally at all?

They feel amazing. Especially if you've only ever used the pads that originally came with the 1000. The sensitivity is better and I haven't had a problem with double triggering or anything like that. I love the pads.

I just might have to grab these. Been thinking of "blacking out" my mpc. I have the pad fix and used the silicone trick. Did the trick for me. Nice beat and videos on ur page Meek!
