Hello, Is it possible to have TR707-like swing in the sequencer of the mPC?

I know TC/CLICK > SWING but it's not like TR's shuffle...

it's possible to have any swing or shuffle in the MPC.
you should load up a .wav of a hi hat from your TR707, enter it into an audio track in the MPC, set the tempo to match your roland, and then drop hi hats in the MPC sequencer at exactly the same moments as the TR707. then, look at the notes in step edit and analyze how they are shifted compared to the TC grid. use this as a guide for future attempts at recreating the TR707 swing.

Yeah, that's possible.

Tr swing is just less resolution than the swing on the mpc. I've matched 909 swing settings on the 1000 but I had to sample the sounds and copy the sequence in the mpc before it sounded the same. Same swim with different sounds and levels will sound different. After that it was just dialing it in. The 900 only has 4 different sguffle settings if you look at a linn drum It's 50%,54%,58%,62%,66%, and 70%. I bet the tr copied those divisions. The tr also has a lower resolution so it will be stiffer. (25ppqn vs the linn 96. ) the 909 or 707 probably uses similar percentages. If I had one I would find the mpc equivalents. May not be exactly the same but not far off.

Thanks for idea. I do this very often in ABleton live in order to understand how beats are made, and to find ideas of drums...
In order to do that in MPC, I need be able to :

* slightly move an event (example : 002.01.00 : PAD A02) that is already there in a the sequence in MPC (move of a few milliseconds). How do do this ? In the main screen, is there a way to move events ? (If I need to go to SEQ EDIT or STEP EDIT, it's not easy at all to move events!)

thanks in advance !
