Hey folks,
I'm pretty new to production so there may be something obvious I'm missing. I'm working on a mixtape ATM so all I'm doing is recording the instrumental onto the first two tracks and my voice through the other ones. When I send the tracks through the effects I can hear them working on the headphones, but once I export the tracks to the internal HD (where I then send them to my computer via USB) the effects are gone. My guess is that the effects aren't actually applied to the tracks, but that the tracks are merely sent through the effects. So, I get how this would be great for live performance, but how do I get the effects to stick when I'm trying to record?
Thanks,
H.S
