I'm new to the MPC and still cant save properly  when I save a song: save all sequences and songs; it somehow loads up the samples from the project I've saved into my other songs? Am I making any sense?? Can someone show m how to save properly? Please!

i make a new folder

and inside that folder i save all my sequences and programs (and whenever i save a program i save all samples with it)

i also save my raw original sample in this folder.

and read the manual or get the beat making on the mpc 1k tutorial guide for 40 bucks it walks you through everything step by step.

also you can "save entire memory" read about that too, i learned today that some more advanced features like alt loop arent just saved on programs. i think alt loop is just on the jjos though.

it will work fine if your just loading chops and making a beat, but if you are doing some non destructive editing or whatever, sometimes it doesnt tag onto the .pgm file, i learned so you may want to learn how to save all sequence and samples.

the manual can be found here

http://www.akaipro.com/mpc

just click on the model you have and they have a downloads and docs section, you should be able to find it.

you can also buy one at mpcstuff.com
