MPC 500 Sending Midi CC's to External Drum Machine

I'm thinking more and more seriously about buying an MPC500

I'd like to know if it's possible to send some midi CC to an external analogue drum machine via midi OUT to
control certain sound parameters (pitch, decay..of the snare or BD for example..etc..)

If yes, is that an easy thing to do ? Can it be edited step by step ?

Also,
I'm planning to control this analogue drum machine Thru another Sound Module like:
MPC Midi OUT -> Sound module Midi IN -> Sound Module Midi THRU -> Drum Machine Midi IN

In that case, would it be still possible to send Midi CC's ?

Ok this is what I gather on this. You can apparently have assignable controls (CC messages) in Logic. I believe it's hook up the MPC, assign the controls in Logic, then you can have a midi-out going to whatever you need to control. At least, that's how I think it works.

If I remember correctly you can insert cc events into the mpc500 sequencer. That's a far as it will go towards generating them.
