MPC2000xl not reading zips or multicard reader

My MPC was working fine. All of a sudden, I turned it on today and it won't read my zips or my multicard reader. On the bottom where it says Type: it has a bunch of question marks. Do I have to install a new OS?

are you using scsi because you said you use both CF and zips... also, are you using the IDE port for the CF reader?

I would suggest checking the cables to make sure none wiggled loose inside the machine if everything was working fine before...

using CF readers on the IDE port require OS 1.20 on the 2000xl.

Actually I have an internal zip drive and a scsi multi card reader. I saved a os onto another zip from my friends mpc and it's working fine now. Just hope it doesn't happen again.

wait, do you have the 2000 classic or the 2000xl? If you have the 2000classic, I believe you should be using the OS 1.72, if you have the 2000xl with those drives I believe the best choice would be OS 1.14.
