Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Well... while trying to save some new samples I made on a brand new Zip disk I brought my MPC started to make Machine Gun Sounds Click Click Buuururrrrrrr Burrrrrrr Click Click Buuuurrrrrrr Buuuuuuuurrrrr Click Click Bdddddddddddddddddaaa. WTF! This is a brand new disk all I was doing was trying to save my samples. Is that the drive that sounds like it went bad or the disk itself. I'm in the dark and now fear I'm about to lose my new samples too. I'm getting fed up with the MPC right now ready to toss it out the window. Sh*ts getting ridiculous and it's costing me time and money.

This, I'd go card reader ASAP

Pretty much going to go in that direction. I was saving for a new music computer. Guess I'll add a card reader to the list. Just realized 40% of my post are me complaining about my zip drive... yeah I think it's time to move on and ditch it.

Thanks for all help.
