Hi,
can someone recommend me a cardreader for the VP-9000. What should I pay attention and where can I get one?
Maybe "gertie" :) - I saw you got the VP-9000 with a cardreader  .

i used this one

http://www.psism.com/iisdmc.htm (ide-atapi)

been a while since i did it, but from what i remember....i took out the internal zip drive....and i think theres a little plastic jumper on it and i had to put the jumper on the back of the cardreader above, thne it worked fine...nothing else is involved

something like this may also work (cant be so sure as i definitely needed to use the plastic jumper on my card before it would work)...i also dont know if it will be hot swappable...i.e. if you can insert and read as may cards as you like without the unit freezing
http://www.scsicardreaders.com/cf-ide.asp

as Lord Tara says....better option would be off ebay...much cheaper

hope this helps

Hi gertie,
me again. I bought a cardreader like yours but whenever I try to format or something else with a CF-Card, the VP-9000 says "No Disk". Don´t know why? Which Version do you have on your VP-9000? I'm desperate. I don´t know what to do.

can you read cards at all in your vp9000?
even if i have a card formatted using windows...my vp9000 can read it

Hello again,
he can´t read card at all, no matter which size they have. I have cards from 32 mb to 1GB. I have all tried out. He always say "no disk"...Maybe you can make a photo or something? or maybe i should make some photos? I don´t know...it´s strange...
