Mpc Tutor??

Hey people,

After a few weeks with the 1000, which i think is a brilliant piece of kit, im wondering if the mpc ebook would be worth buying.

Do you think its worth it??

It is, but really you want to go through the manual in detail at least twice. Or the whole thing once over, then re-read the bits that you're especially interested in.
Also, if you haven't yet got it - get the JJOS upgrade.

I have pretty much covered the manual now, so i was looking for a more tutor based book/ebook.

Looks like i will buy the mpc ebook, looks pretty good, it could improve my workflow a great deal.

Also, whats so good about the JJos??

Never had an mpc before and all i can say is, they are so much more enjoyable to work on then a pc/mac.

No worries, well the JJOS offers many features that aren't in the original AKAI OS. Here is a good starting point to find out more about it

Its not free, but there is a free version, as I recall - its the same thing except you cannot save your work. Also do some searching on this forum. Its very popular and there are a lot of discussions around it.

Good look with the e-book, but remember that You Tube has a lot of good videos. Sometimes watching something twice is just as good as reading about it 10 times.

Well, in fact there is a fully functional free version, MPC1000 JJ OS 3.12. You CAN save on it.

And about the book: you don't just read it, there are dozens of hands-on tutorials. Learning by doing vs. watching some videos, hmm...

The sale of eBooks and sample packs keeps this wonderful forum alive, youtube doesn't.
