I personally recommend Eddie Bazil over at mpc-samples.com I know this sounds like an add but its not. I'm currently reading through his book EQ: uncovered and all I can say is dude knows his stuff. He has demos of each book you can download and see for yourself. But keep in mind his books are e-books...which means digital download however he does offer hard back versions although not on mpc samples dot com. I bought the hardcover version of EQ :uncovered from a third party publishing company that sells his books. I guarantee you'll learn a lot....I plan on getting the e-book on compression once Ive fully digested his book on EQ. :D
