Akai needs to step up and make an MPC that integrates with ableton as a plugin like maschine and a standalone feature. If not akai at least ensoniq should come back with the same sound ngine ASR-X pro with better pads, and vst style too.

All i know is Sonar might be when live 9 announcement gets dropped

yes, only when it first came out, now that its established its raised up to 599.

I read this yesterday on a blog and imagined how many people are going to feel pissed on. So is the nature of product life cycles though. Not really into Maschine, for the most part. It will likely improve for sure though.

I think it was always 599, cuz I got mine when they frist came out and got it under 500 second hand

Hmmmmm, looks like i can get maschine for $449 since i own the first kore. Only used the interface, could never wrap my head around the software so i never bothered with it after a few days.

Does anyone here use Kore 2?

There's a music store over here selling Kore 2 and Komplete 7 for £450! Seems like an amazing deal.

Anyone still have the .dll for the Kore Player? It was a free download and I bought an expansion pack for it last year called "Urban Drums" (I think)...I only used it a few times but it would be nice to have the Kore Player just in case I get a wild hair to use the expansion.

Maschine will be discontinued as well to dawn in the upcoming Mezkanical Desvice.
