If you must spend money - there are a couple of good DVDs available - Sample Kings aren't too bad. I found their mpc 3000 and 2500 dvds helpful in getting the basics down.

But however you get the information - its ultimately going to be how much you repeat what you see and how much time you spend on your unit.

DO NOT BUY SAMPLE KINGS DVDs!!!

Thay spend about an hour telling you how to turn the MPC on and that isn't even a joke!!!

there is this asian kid on youtube and he got series of videos showing how to use the 4000 they're pretty good

Yeah I need a Skype tutor myself...LMAO...Thats the illest shit Ive ever heard, but Im close to the LA area, I can help, I mean Im a beginner but I can manuever around the machine...Im actually located in the Inland Empire...bring your MPC and we can work together.

So is there some sort of MPC4000 weekly tutorial meeting group going on, on Skype? If not, that would be a hot ass idea since we don't have a tutorial book made for our lovely machine. I wish I could start one on Skype but I know I don't know enough of the 4000 to be a host.....

Anyhow if one is going on please let everyone else know...when and how often.
