Really hoping someone can help here! I have the 2500 and recently the pads have started playing up....firstly often they won't respond when hit, it seems to be the 9-12 row but others seem to be affected. If I go into pad sensitivity I can see that after hitting it (trial and error) it will sometimes stay on until after I keep hitting it it will turn off. This is also affecting the mode selection. It will also sometimes play one of those pads when I press note repeat when in stop!!! The mode and main buttons often don't respond again until I try with trial and error. Does anybody have any idea what's going on here? Is it a short somewhere? Pad sensors? I really don't want to buy new sensors if it might be another problem (which the problem with other buttons is making me think it could be). I would appreciate any advice people. Peace

hey, just tried the ram..no joy..i already opened it up to see if anything was going on and it seemed fine. i gave it a clean whilst it was open. pads 9-12 just wont work right. occasionally they do or they play another pad. any ideas?

Have you tried "hold Erase + Power on"?

hey, yeah tried all that kind of stuff which is why im so stuck! im running the free jj os. if i go into the sensitivity menu (which can take me ten minutes to do!!!) some pads will just stay on when presses (if you see what i mean?). also i find it hard to get 16 levels to come on and the main and mode buttons often need banging until they work!?
