Dude there's like a 500 page sticky dedicated to the exact topic of taking apart your 1k and fixing those pads... go take a look.

Is this the same Typo that was talking about respect and language? Exactly how did I overpay when you never proved that they're available for less than what I paid, you schizo internet thug, lol. Anyway, I changed the pad for a new one, and A05 (the record pad) still won't work. I also tried another pad on my MP that I KNOW works, so it's something other than the pad. Any ideas? From anyone other than Typo the salad tosser? :lol:

Yea man but don't you think if its not the sensors that are causing the problem, or the board as I re-sodered the contact on the board, that the upgrade will do nothing to help me? The upgrage only addresses the issue of the sh*tty sensors & the feel of the pads. It has to be a probem inside the machine itself. The last thing I'd want is to put another 2 bills into a $400 machine & have it still not work, you know?

Lol, work with me man. It's from Jay-Z's "The Takeover." summer jam is a huge year end hip hop concert in NY & Jay dissed Prodigy from Mobb Deep by putting a pix of him as a ballerina from his childhood while rhyming about it. One of the best knockout punches in hip hop battle history.
