Chopping/Sampling Issues

So i've sampled a piece of music, then i've chopped it up manually, but when i assign those chops to the pads they play over each other rather than sounding clean when i hit each one? Im pretty sure there is a way to solve this and I would like to know, thanks a lot;

If you have installed the JJ os even the free version, all you need to do it press MODE-PAD 11 and in the upper right hand corner change the program from poly to mono. If you're on the akai os you need to go through and change each pad manually one at a time to mono
