2nd hand / refurbished MPC60 OS 3.10 Eproms?

Hi,

I recently got a 60II, but can't afford the steep price of the OS upgrade + shipping right now and frankly I think it's overpriced anyway.

Are there any places that sell parts salvaged parts from broken MPC 60's that might have the Eproms on hand?

I need an upgrade too... but don't really want to pay the $200 price tag. Need a bootlegged or used one too.

Well if you want the benefits of Roger's hard work, you'll have to pay him for it.

He didn't get a fat cheque from Akai for working on the OS upgrade.

I doubt a 2nd hand chip would be much cheaper, if you could find one that is...

Same deal with Vailixi on the 3000.

I'm guessing you didnt learn much from the thread on Gearslutz when you asked for cracked/bootleg software.
