MPC1000: Main Volume problem

hi i just bought my first MPC1000 and i just made an account to find answers to my MPC problems.
This is my first post ever and just yesterday i got a used mpc1000 off amazon. Everything works
the only problem is the main volume. It's on full vol. but when i play a sample for example my drums, it
sounds really soft on my speakers, and my headphones....idk what to do, is it the RAM? is there parts available on mpcstuff.com? if this has happened to you
can you please tell me what's up?

im having the same problem, i just got an mpc 1000 myself and the volume is to the max and the headphones/speaker are really low, did you ever find out what was wrong?

yeah i found out, go press mode then pad10(OTHER) on F1 there's global then it should say master level. With your data wheel scroll to 0db and there you have it, or you can adjust to others
