Nice one dude. Turned a come up into another come up. You gotta love the modernized XL feel of the 2500. Keeping my Maschine, and I've stated why I like it, but you won't see me evangelizing that joint, and the overall consensus here is correct it can't be compared to dedicated hardware. It's just a way to get more hands on when you're using your DAW by itself.

you know I didnt really mind the maschine but between mpc and maschine...mpc hands down, I did sequence drums using maschine on most of my beats in the past year or so..I will probably be back on it given falling prices of the unit and it's also good for portable use with laptop.

Lap Top + MPC 1K + USB MIDI interface + pick any DAW = Portable set-up
