For some reason when i record something to my mpc as a sample in stereo it only records to the left speaker? Anyone got any ideas why?

cause you only got one cable connected instead of two for a stereo signal? switch it to mono...

I was just recording a sequence to the MPC so i wasnt using any cords and i want my sequence to be in stereo for better quality.
