Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Alright people I'm back, haven't touched my 500 for awhile since I've been messing around with the Akai LPK25 and making my own instrumental's. But just now I chopped 7 different samples and a separate song to chop me a drum break.
Now here's the part where it's a bit more confusing for me... did some research and none could come up on the (find). The samples were about 0.500 - 5.0sec, in my Presonus Studio One Artist. I already had my 500 on to USB Connection, so I could just upload the samples straight into the 500 instead of putting them in a folder(I find that quite a hassle). But anyways all the samples were on

WAV. Resolution 16bit and a SampleRate of 44.1khz or 48.0khz.

I then upload all 8 samples into the 500, go into the Load menu then load all samples into their assigned Buttons. Here's the part where I'm pretty confused because all my wire connections are correct & Full Level is on.

I could only here the samples reply on the "Load; Samples" screen. But when going out to the Program screen to Tune an mess around with the samples... I press the buttons and it doesn't play back sound.

Can anyone throw out some solutions, I've done what I can with resetting it and changing the samples up. Still no play back :(

Ya I tried that to :(
Hopefully the problem does not have something to do with the motherboard. I tried using the MIDI on my audio interface it plays perfect.

hah^.. im so sad... i think my 500 has gone to rest -__- fml. Going to bring it to the music store and see if they know anything. This is probably the first that this has happened I'm guessing.

UPDATE!:
Checked for loose connections and pad sensitivity, all good. thinking of just moving to a MPD already lol.

Hello

Have you tried loading another program into the unit to see if the samples contained within that program work ?
Are the levels for the Pads turned up to 100 ?
If other old samples will load, but not these new ones, then I would say that there is some problem with the new ones.
What that could be, I am unsure. But maybe you could try getting them into the unit another way.
Good luck !

Video(Sorry, was in a hurry to just upload it. So it's upside down hah)

But I did try Autoload playing with only the default 500 sounds. Same problem. I then uploaded old samples that did work back then, still weren't able to play it through the pads. And last but not least I checked the pad levels, it was on a 100. Still didn't work.

The way I've been uploading it has been correct. I'll look back into the manual an see what's up once more. Though thanks for your solutions all :)

UPDATED!:
FINALLY I've solved my own problem, since that I couldn't find the real reason why my pads weren't working. I just reseted the 500 to Factory Settings. So everything seems to be working fine for now. If my samples aren't working I'll update this again.
