After looking at this thread I hollered at ghostinmpc, he (they?) got back to me within minutes and quoted some reasonable prices as far as the work and shipping. Definitely considering have these guys hook up one my units.

That's a good look :D , I'm always looking for a loose XL black front to hook mine up like that.

This is definitively one of the most beautiful MPCs I've ever seen... it is simple and clean! def the DR4 knob could looks great in it! also the cursor buttons from the MPC5000, it is a shame that mpcstuff or vstservice do not come with better black buttons, those clear stripes in it are not that great!

Thick Fat Black Pads
All black PLASTIC buttons / Jog Wheel / Cursor / Fader Slider / Front panel / Floppy Drive (NOT PAINTED!)
Still working on it, I need to polish the case one more time, apply clear paint and I'm still looking the solution for the lettering but I want to show how I'm doing it...

Peace!

That's exactly what I've always wanted to do, but never dared..
The light blue numeric buttons are a good combination with the black and metal.
Very nice !

A great solution about Leters are Letraset (Google that)
after the letter mounting you can use varnish to secure the in place.
