We have 2 new kits:

First is from my friend Chris Stack (former marketing manager at Moog Music).
A drum loop sound processed with a Moogerfooger Ring Modulator

The Second is from a new serie we call 8801 Vinyl Breaks.
I noticed that most samples I had on my MPC were very groove but not punchy enough. Most had a lot of reverb or noise.
I always have to clean the drum loops (gating and recompressing), so I decided to make some kits with all this stuff done for your enjoyment!

We are back from a long long holidays!

To remedy this we will reward you with some extra sounds… We recieved an old Hohner Pianet T last month. A sort of a low budget Rhodes (much simpler in its construction and crude in its sound). Jai elFlaco and I decided to lock ourselves in the studio a few nights… see what we could do with it…

All the sound kits from "MartianRock" track were included on the download (drums, bass, keyboards...)

Yes we use CC Licensing. We aren't making any money with this, it's just a love thing... So We don't care so much about licenses... At the moment...
So a cool way to say "thank you" will be to share with us (on www.hellosamples.com) your compositions. It's easy to paste a Soundcloud code or similar and YES! we will be very happy to listen what you doing with our stuff!


Kit of the week:

My friend Jai elFlaco gives us some percussion stuff today. The sounds haven’t been recorded with top equipment this time (only an ADK microphone thru a Joemeek twink Q, recorded directly onto the MPC) but they still sounds Great! Very organic, very raw… That’s how Jai elFlaco likes it!!

were you in the demo tent at SONAR? which stand? I was at SONAR and was playing on the theremin at the Moog stand -- I used to want a theremin until I discovered how difficult it is to play!!
