Ableton Live.

I finnaly decided to start using ableton live. Everything in it is nice and im starting to get a hang of it. Then suddenly i realized.. that i cant record mono... wth is that? i have to use something like audacity to convert to mono. Why The Hell is it that u cant record in mono... -1 to ableton... damn.. opinions?

you can record in mono.

you just have to select a mono input from your soundcard. you'll have options like 1&2 stereo, then 1 or 2 mono, for the record in. but ableton plays everything back in stereo.

also, when you export your audio out of ableton, there is an option to "convert to mono", which you can you use when you want to export a track out of ableton to mix in pro tools, logic, cubase, etc... or whatever DAW you are using to mix.
