I'm currently using floppy disks so i'll have to:

a. install a cardreader (for wich i don't have the balls to do it myself.. scared as hell i'll eff up my XL but i'm slowly moving towards buying one..)
b. buy an usb floppy disk reader (costs less and a more saver way to transfer sounds to the XL)

Kudos my man!
I will be using this in the future!

listen you will need to get the XL's OS 1.20 on a floppy disk anyways to install that before you install the card reader if you plan on getting an ide/atapi one. If you plan on getting a scsi one dont worry, OS 1.14 is the correct and better choice.

Also, installing the card reader is not hard at all... it doesn't require soldering or anything like that... you just plug it in.

Thanks for the heads up my man!
I'm still a bit paranoid after finally buying an XL and immediately had to ship it off for reparements..
i dont wanna eff that machine up!
I dugg the archive's religiously for pictures of how to instal the card reader..
If and when i finally decide to install that reader i want to be 100% sure..
that's all.. i know.. that sounds paranoid as hell! i cant help it though!

you should configure your browser in order to download an air file.
Try to right-clic on the download button, and select "save the target link as..." or something similar.

But I'll try to change the way it downloads as soon as I have time to.

Thanks for the app but you might want to hit up MPCTutor (The owner of this webstite) to make sure you can advertise your app here. He's the brainchild of the ever popular http://www.midicase.com/mpceditor/.

MPCEditor is created and sold by Mike over at MIDIcase.com, I've no relationship whatsoever with him nor his company. Mike used to post here as user 'mpc3000', not sure if he still comes here or not.

Alesclandre - welcome to the forums and please do continue to post up your free app for everyone to beta test, it's very much appreciated! Once you iron out any bugs, I'll happy put it up on MPC-Tutor.com if you wish.

I've not received a lot of feedback though. It should not have too much bugs ;) !

I KNOW I don't have the correct MPC to use this but I tried test it out with my 4000. (I love the interface BTW! The way it autoloads to the pads is a dream come true for someone with a lot of samples.)

But, when I tried to load the pgm up I got a "Seek Error (404)" :( :(

Before anyone say anything about Ak.sys , It sucks! Especially on any 64-bit machine!

This program works only for MPC 2000 XL, not for the other ones. It may work on the MPC 2000, but as I haven't one, I can't test. If someone has some feedback on this, or if someone has a PGM file made by the MPC 2000, he can send it to me.

@WAE_ILLA : Do you have a 2000XL ? If so, the sounds should be in the same folder as the PGM file in order to be played. My program doesn't touch the wav files. What it does is copying the files, that's all. So check if the wav sounds work on the MPC.
And once again, my program has not been made to play the sounds, but to transfer them inot the MPC.
If you have still problems, can you send the PGM file to me, and any of your wav file that doesn't work ? Thanks. Verify that your wav files are readable by the MPC.
