1000 - Not getting any sound

Hey Just picked up a 2nd hand mpc1000 tonight apparently it has a HD in it and samples and I can see sequences but I cant seem to get any sound out from the headphone jack

Ive had a look through the manual and still cant get any noise. whats some troubleshooting I can do to try get some sound!

Ok so I thought id be more descriptive in my problem.

When I turn the machine on

I get sq:01-DJ-Hip_Hop
etc when I hit play it seems to play but i get not sound

Mute: is off

I tried hitting mode 9 and turned pad to internal sound on (if that makes any difference)

I dont have a CF card in there however there is a hard drive with samples already loaded on

I figure somewhere its muted or volume is down (obviously the "main volume knob" is up)

Fixed the problem just wasn't loading correctly. Let the fun begin

I'm having this same issue! How did you resolve it?

Dude obviously came to get help and bailed out once he got going, no feedback.

I was thinking, maybe he didn't actually have a program loaded to start with...
