Pain in the butt - resets

I go to put the damn thing in song mode and go to execute then it decides to poop itself and reset coming up with the 128mb screen and loading all the factory samples again.

Throw it at the wall or is there a solution?

Do the obvious things such as checking the ram is firmly seated and other internal connections are good, reinstalling the OS... maybe install the free JJ and see if the problem persists.

Do you have additional ram installed?

Yes I have additional RAM. Why do you ask?

I put on the original OS from Akai and the free JJOS and the pads are funny.

With the factory presets everything triggers and records fine.

When I load my own drumkit, everything triggers fine but when it records ther notes only trigger pad A1.

Anyone reccomend a direction to head?

take out the ram extension. does the problems still occur?
