problem mpc 3ooo, pad sensor?

Hi,
I've got a problem with my mpc 3000: when I hit a pad, it often sounds like a double or triple hit!!
Have I to change the pad sensor, or is there an other explication?

Well I reckon you'll have to open the mpc up. But before buying any new stuff it could be worth cleaning the pad sensors and possibly the pads themselves if theyre not in the best condition.

I have already did it, but there is no change.
I think it could be an adjustment to make in a menu but I don't know where!!!
Maybe I can try another manipulation before buying new pad sensor... but which one?
I'm a little angry against the man who sell me the mpc, because he told me that all functions are ok! So, I hope I haven't to change the pad sensor!!!

Try refitting the pad sensor connector, it worked well on mine. I got no more random triggering.

yeah just buy a new pad sensor sheet. If the machine still has the original pad sensors they will probably need replacing soon anyway, so might as well just do it now. They arent too expensive, mpc stuff sells them for like $70 I think... I just replaced mine recently and it made my pads much more responsive and much easier to get to max velocity. Definitely worth upgrading. When you replace them make sure you scrape off ALL the excess glue left behind from the old pad sensors. Alcohol prep swabs worked like a charm for me when removing all the excess adhesive from the old sensors. And also make sure that you line up the new pad sensors perfectly when installing.
