CF I really don't like it when it comes to my music because the card is small and flimsy, I like the tuffness of the Zip, though it's bulky It's stern. Sometimes those CF cards reformat and can erase data etc. I don't like them because I don't wanna play around when it comes to music.
i respectfully disagree with everything said here.
durability: you can run over a cf card with a truck and it will still work. a zip would shatter.
random reformat: i've never experienced that nor heard of it. cards dont 'reformat' themselves.
fact: your zips will fail much sooner than a cf card. just look around this forum at how many people have lost all their work from zips failing. search "click of death".
fact: zips are hollow, thin plastic with moving parts. that means it will eventually wear out. cards have no moving parts, so they are silent and durable.
fact: zips are older and not used anymore, except by old technology. cards are a moderb medium and used in many modern devices. you can go to walmart and by a memory card, i dont know if you can buy a zip.
in my opinion, zips are the absolute worst option, and like peter said, hard drives are noisy, prone to fail, etc etc.
this question gets asked almost every other day. browse this forums a bit and you'll see.
