I like the "EP" idea...but we need to get together first...what do we need to do this?

1 - location.
difficult to do, cuz nobody really wants a bunch of random dudes all up in their studio, someone will have to bite the bullet though...im near the core (mid-town just off yonge) so i can get pretty much anywhere by subway in 45 mins...

2 - desire to get together
i think we have this one covered...shadow, mattskillz and tdot for sure

3 - an understanding of where everyone is coming from
this will help determine what we all want to achieve. like i said before, im an mc who is just starting into the production side. so what am i looking for? producers to build with (both knowledge sharing on the production side and potentially spitting over beats that you guys are cookin up)

3 - a time for everyone to reach
this will come once the location is determined...

so....what are people saying?

How about Matt's place? College and Yonge sounds G'd up. I'l bring along the stuff I brought back from NYC and if I can transport it, I'll bring along my 4K and chrons or brews.

wuddup boyz? been phoqin busy. i am moving nov. 1st so my pad is out for now. anyone else got a spot? i am cool with just a bar/lounge or something. linking up in someoones studio could be the way to go but it can't be mine for awhile yet. who want's to trade up some sample cd's/sounds? i got some nice disks.

shadow you sell your gear? i am looking to off some stuff myself. i've got a planet phatt as well. if you sold that stuff i'd be curious as to what route you took. i am thinking song bird or long and mcquade. ebay is to painful. so here's my list of shit in case any of you or someone you know is interested.

shadow i'd love to check out the mpc4000. thinking of the 4000 or mv-8000 for a future upgrade. what do you think of the 4k? you guys heard anything about this mv-8000 by roland?????

How much you thinking about selling that Planet Phatt rack?

I'm not that familiar with the bar scene downtown, so I leave the selection of a location to you guys, you probably know more than I do. Or perhaps Double-D knows a place in Midtown. I see a good amount of places on Yonge between Sheppard and Finch as I drive by there all the time.

This Friday coming is good for me. So count me in for sure. I'm going to be using the Thanksgiving weekend to finish some wiring in my basement. Once that's done, I don't mind holding the first studio jam the weekend after.

So someone decide the location and holler.

I still have my gear if anyone is interested, sale or trade.

i'm only 18 so you can count me out of that bar/club ish.

tdot-you should check with shadow on the p phatt i think he is selling his for like 200. i am still debating if i'll off mine or not.

i'll look into what's goign on, on a friday night downtown. there is usually a good chill hip hop thing going on almost everyday of the week.

Works for me, I got a sh!tload of family that have shown up for Thanksgiving. Skipping out on them is not recommended.
