No sin wave

Hey guys,

I recently started messing around on this 2000 xl I picked up off craigslist. I am trying to load some home-grown breaks from my electribe, but when I go to trim after I sample it no sin wave appears. It could just be because the screen is on the way out, but I have no idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'll try sampling louder first lol. I can here it just fine though. If that doesn't work...I will go with pre- amp. Thanks guys

a sin (sine?) wave is a very particular type of wave, you realise?



a picture might help, your zoom settings could be off, you might be sampling too quiet...can't really tell without seeing it.

Hmmmm. How could I possibly change the zoom settings? I might want to try that too.

^^ come to think of it, it's probably not your zoom settings. those are only active if you hit open window on the start / end / loop point.

if youd post a picture we might could tell you whats wrong.
