I would like to have different tracklength with the option to a. auto fill tracks, whose are shorter than longest b. to rest the shortest track until the longest track begins again.

a master track, for recording q-slider moves over a (arranged) song.

better midi editing functions like cancer, mirror notes, extract notes by pitch etc.

the ability to fill up sequences by aliases of notes

realtime midi event processing (like in the rs7000 for instance)

I wish there was a bypass button going from GPE to the FX window :

For instance WINDOW over FX1 on that screen :

will lead to that screen :

I wish there was a bypass button like that one (reachable from the mixer mode)

I do not know if this has been previously requested

in one bar edit (grid)
shift + (jog wheel left / right) = step - / step + (value parameter)

workflow would be faster and more fun (greater and faster step sequencer editor).

ohhh, and could be applicable in other screens (in other functions) within our MPC!!!

jj thanks in advance!

+1 for this.

Instead of holding down TAP TEMPO and pressing cursor or + - for fast adjustments I have to use the SHIFT button instead. Main reason is because whenever I used TAP TEMPO I was forever accidentally changing the tempo of my sequence.

If I did use the TAP TEMPO button for this functionality I'd have to make sure to turn off tap tempo, but I use it for tempo too.
It'd be nice to be able to have tap tempo turned on AND be able to use the big button for fast adjustments.
SHIFT+TAP TEMPO would achieve this! :)

COPY and/or CUT and PASTE in TRIM.

Simple functionality on the outset which has always totally baffled me as to why it is not included.

I am sure there is a very good reason as to why it is not there.... or am I :?: :?

In NDC:

  • be able to extract individual chops
  • be able to go through and select certain chops for deletion

+1

would love to press pad to select chop, then press shift, then use softkey (f1,f2) to:
1. "extract chops"(when dialog box is open, you can hit multiple chops then press 'do it' to extract multiple chops rendering each chop as a new sample)
2."delete chops" (actually delete the chops audio from current sample - ability to select multiple chops).all marker positions would have to stay intact and the deleted markers would just be set to zero for start and end points - the reason you would want to do this is say you have a 1 minute long sample and you want to reduce its size to 20 seconds. currently, you have to turn off ndc, then discard regions, this messes up chop positions because the lenght of sample is changed.

simple: NDC chop to pad via shift key

I would also like to have "chop to pad" function. for example: while in NDC hit pad to select desired chop, hold down shift, hit destination pad to assign the selected chop to , let go of shift, chop is automatically assigned to pad (in current program).

this way you dont have to remember what chops you want to assign when you create a program and you down always have to create an entire program just for a couple of chops. this would make chopping even faster.

use case
1.load up large sample
2.turn on NDC
3.edit start and end point on chops 1,5,12
4.begin to assign those chops to pad: select chop 1 while in NDC (pad 1)
5.press and hold down shift
6.hit destination pad (pad selected chop should be assigned to) - pad 8 for example.
7.let go of shift
8.chop 1 is assigned to pad 8 (in current program)
9.repeat process for chop 5 and 12 selecting differant destination pads

 VOLUME FROM TRACK MIXER TO MIDI OUT:

The Track Mixer (MODE + PAD 4) at the moment does not send Volume level to the MIDI OUT.

based on this post:

viewtopic.php?f=25&t=145421&p=1354398#p1354398

greetings

I want to be able to send midi volume info from the track mixer to another sound module (Yamaha Rm1x), but when I adjust the volume of a track in the track mixer, there is no midi signal beings sent.
Or am I missing something?

I can use the Q-Slider, attach it to the velocity of the midi track and it will work somewhat like a volume fader, but it would be much better to able to send midi volume messages from the track mixer window.

cheers

Trey

 shortcut to open the TRACK LIST window

I'd like to have a short cut (maybe shift+ some KEY) to open the Track List window.
